Lets improve crippling
i think that the condition "cripple" needs a boost in its usefulness.
i propose that crippled foes are knocked down when hit with a melee attack.
This would go a long way in diversifying the conditions that are used in the game.

People already use cripple quite often in PvP and even PvE (at least in hard mode).

Crippling is quite powerful and useful, no need for a change.

Cripple is one of the most powerful conditions as it stops kiting
No need to overpower

[skill=big]Crippling Slash[/skill]
What's not said here is that it also bleeds now, setting up for the world reknowned [skill=card]Gash[/skill] to be used and opening for any number of other sword attacks of choice. CS has now been adopted by the High End GvG community, making it a staple of warrior bars all around.
[skill=card]Hamstring[/skill] never was liked and wasn't used alot, but it still had its moment in the sun.
[skill=big]Crippling Shot[/skill]
This is 1 of two ranger elites that are used by every GvG ranger ever created. With [skill=card]Apply Poison[/skill] to cover the cripple and give degen, this is the ranger snare of choice when not trapping, and no one traps in GvG.
However, imagine getting crippled and a warrior runs up on you and enters melee range, wailing on you with a sword and constantly KDing you. The monk removes the condition, only to have it reapplied by CS, and that same ranger to poison you, making the predicament worse. You would be dead in the water, and as you fell, time would only tell how else it would go for your team.
KDs while crippled would dramatically change the face of the game and the skills that inflicted it. Too much, I would say, to make it desired by anyone who wanted to compete. Also, that would also make the metagame change towards all cripple inflictions, though cripple is big in PvP now, but to have it also cause KDs...
Madness. /not signed

^Agreed. I use crippling alot in PvE as i don't pvp anymore, and imo it's fine the way it is.

And make flag running, relic running, and speed boosts in general impossible?
No.

...Yes, in that you would have atleast 2 characters devoted entirely to crippling in any GVG team and keep monks perma KDed.

It really doesn't matter if it's PvE or PvP. A well placed cripple+AoE spell would easily devastate a mob too. Apparently the OP fails at both PvE and PvP.

I almost always bring cripple into pvp on my ranger - one form or another. Crippling a warrior and kiting him around has to be the single most simple and effective rock/paper/scissor examples.
Crippling melee mobs in pve gives you near complete control over who they are restricted to attack. Including "none" if you so wish.

Fixed. Instakill on crit would be useless since crits don't happen that often imo

If it would have an extra effect it should be knockdown if you take more then 100 damage from a Melee attack(so mostly attacks that require alot of adrenaline will cause it e.g. decapitate or executioners strike).

This is a joke right? If you want crippling to cause a KD, knock yourself out. [skill]Tripwire[/skill]
Crippling does not need to be changed.
/unsigned for obvious reasons.
